Keep Your Home Allergy Free and Dust Free

Keep Your Home Allergy Free and Dust Free - The dust particles and allergens into the house, whether you like it or not. Here's what you can do to reduce them. Although it will be almost impossible, 100% of these particles to get rid of you will be able to get very close!

How to Keep Your Home Allergy Free and Dust Free

Bedding Keep your pillows and mattresses encased in protective covers to reduce allergens in your bed. Vacuum your mattress once week with HEPA equipped vacuum. Use comforters that can be washed once week in hot water and stay away from anything that needs to be dry cleaned.

Filters Strategically place air filters throughout your home. Be sure these filters are also equipped with HEPA filter.

Furniture Vacuum all your upholstery once week. If possible, purchase leather furniture pieces that can easily be wiped clean. Upholstered furniture collects lot of dust, danger and pollen. Be sure to dust your other furniture often with moist cloth. Using feather duster will only move dust around your home and make it airborne.

Windows and Doors Keep your windows and doors closed as often as possible to reduce amount of outside particles you bring in. Wash window treatments often in hot water. Do not use window treatments that cannot be washed well.

Shoes Over 90% of all dust, dirt and allergens in home come from bottom of your shoes. Be sure to remove your shoes at door and leave them there!
